Terms of service.

1. Who you are contracting with
Mira Content Studio is a trading name of Michael James, a sole trader established in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms are the agreement between you and us.
Correspondence address: 245 Old St, London EC1V 9EY, United Kingdom
Email: hello@miracontent.studio
By placing an order via miracontent.studio, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t order. We work with brands worldwide, including in the United States.
2. What we deliver
We produce product imagery, ad creative, and short-form clips, delivered as digital files. What you receive depends on which package you purchase:
- Stills (£99 one-off). One product in one visual direction. Choose 8 product images, or replace up to 3 with branded store or listing graphics. Channel-ready crops are prepared for your chosen priority: website, marketplace, or social. Delivered in 3 working days. One refinement round.
- Ad Creative (£149 one-off). One product. 5 finished static ads across 2 to 3 creative angles, including hooks, calls to action, branded text, and layouts. Supplied in feed and Story formats. Delivered in 3 working days. One refinement round.
- Launch (£299 one-off). One product range of up to 3 variants. We present 2 visual direction concepts; you approve 1, and that approved direction is taken into production. 12 finished product images, 3 short-form clips directed around the approved launch concept, and 5 static ad concepts, all in the approved direction. Supplied in website, feed, and Story formats. Delivered in 5 to 7 working days. One refinement round.
Extra products, ads, clips, banners, social carousels, and refinement rounds can be added. We confirm the scope and price of every add-on before work begins.
3. Pricing & payment
Prices listed on the website are in pounds sterling. We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT applies. If we become VAT-registered in the future, we’ll add VAT going forward.
If your card is issued outside the United Kingdom, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add its own fee. That charge is between you and your bank; we receive the sterling amount shown at checkout.
Payments are processed via Stripe. Packages and add-ons are one-off charges. There are no subscriptions and no recurring billing.
In short: you pay first, then submit your brief. We start work once both are in.
4. Briefs & delivery
After payment, Stripe redirects you to a brief form. Stills and Ad Creative each cover one product. Launch covers one product range of up to 3 variants. Send 4 to 8 clear reference photos of each included product or variant from different angles, along with the information requested in the form.
We send first frames before completing the work. You must approve the product, label, colour, proportions, direction, and any advertising copy or product claims before we finish the remaining set.
For Launch, this is also where the direction is settled. We present 2 direction concepts alongside the first frames, you approve 1, and we produce that direction. Direction approval is part of production — there is no second brief form to complete.
Delivery windows start on the first working day after we confirm that we have your completed brief and required reference photos. Stills and Ad Creative are delivered in 3 working days. Launch is delivered in 5 to 7 working days. Working days mean Monday to Friday excluding UK bank holidays.
Delivery windows pause while we wait for approval or missing information from you.
If you pay but do not submit a complete brief, we email after one working day and again after five working days. After 30 days, we place the booking on hold and remove it from the active production queue. The booking is not cancelled or refunded. Reply to our email and complete the brief to reactivate it.
Working files and delivered assets remain available for 90 days after your shoot is complete. A shoot is complete when you accept it under section 5. Download and store the finished files before that period ends. We may delete our copies after 90 days.
5. Refinements & acceptance
A refinement round means one collected set of substantive changes you request after delivery, such as different lighting, framing, layout, or copy. Minor tweaks, including small colour corrections and single-frame fixes, are included throughout and don’t count against your refinement allowance. A new product, variant, or direction is outside the original scope and is priced separately.
- Stills includes one refinement round.
- Ad Creative includes one refinement round.
- Launch includes one refinement round on the approved direction.
Refinement requests must be made within 14 days of delivery. After that, we treat the shoot as accepted and complete.
6. If you are a consumer
Most of our customers are businesses, but we sell to individuals too. This section applies if you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract made at a distance. Our work is made to your brief, and we begin as soon as we accept it.
By submitting your brief you ask us to begin during that 14-day period, and you accept that once we have fully delivered your shoot you no longer have the right to cancel it. If you cancel while we are part-way through, you pay a proportionate amount for the work already done and we refund the balance.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or those Regulations. If you are a consumer outside the United Kingdom, your local law may give you further rights, and these terms do not affect them.
7. Refunds
If the first frames cannot hold your product, label, colour, or proportions accurately, we stop the shoot and refund the booking. You must raise an accuracy issue before approving the first frames.
We don’t issue refunds after you approve the first frames and final delivery has occurred. If you’re unhappy with the finished result, use the included refinement round.
If we decline your brief under section 10, see that section for what happens to your payment.
If for any reason we can’t deliver — we lose your data, we shut down, we go on indefinite hiatus — we refund you in full.
Refunds go back to the card used at checkout, through Stripe.
8. What you can do with the files
When we deliver your files, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them for:
- Paid social advertising (Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Marketplace listings (Amazon, Shopify, your own DTC site)
- Your own website and email marketing
- Press use commensurate with the brand context
Broadcast and out-of-home (TV, billboards, transit, large-format print) are not included by default. If you want to use the files for these, get in touch at hello@miracontent.studio and we’ll arrange an extended licence.
Reselling or sublicensing the files as stock or template content is not permitted.
9. Advertising copy and claims
Ad Creative and Launch may include hooks, calls to action, prices, promotional wording, and product claims based on the information in your brief. You must check and approve that copy before delivery. You are responsible for ensuring that every claim, price, offer, and required disclosure is accurate, substantiated, and permitted in the markets where you use it.
10. What you can’t brief us on
We won’t produce content that:
- Promotes illegal products or services in the UK
- Is sexually explicit, or features minors in inappropriate contexts
- Is intended to defame, harass, or deceive a specific person or business
- Infringes someone else’s trademark or copyright (including using a recognisable celebrity’s likeness without consent)
- Promotes hate, violence, or discrimination against any protected group
We reserve the right to decline briefs that fall into these categories. If we decline your brief before production begins, we refund your booking in full. Reviewing a brief is our cost, not yours.
If a prohibited element only comes to light after production has begun, we stop work, tell you why, and refund your booking in full unless you have already approved the first frames — in which case we refund the part of the booking we have not yet delivered.
11. AI disclosure
Our deliverables are produced using AI image-generation models, directed by us based on your brief.
Practically:
- The images you receive are computationally generated, not photographed on a physical set.
- We do not train any model on your reference images, brief content, or materials you submit, and we do not sell or license them to anyone. We use them only to direct the generation for your specific shoot.
- To produce your shoot we send those materials to our generation provider. What that provider retains, and whether it may use submitted material to improve its own models, is set by that provider’s terms and the plan we use it under. The privacy notice names the provider and sets out the current position.
- You are responsible for any disclosure obligations on your end — for example, labelling AI-generated content where required by platform policy or applicable law.
12. Your content
You retain all rights in the references, brand assets, and notes you provide. By submitting them, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use them solely to produce your shoot.
You confirm that you own or have permission to use the references you submit. If you send us photographs of people, you confirm you have their permission for those photographs to be used to produce your shoot. If a third party claims you didn’t have rights to a reference, you’re responsible for resolving that — we’re not.
13. Our intellectual property
The site, our brand, our wordmark, our methodology, and the internal tooling we use to produce shoots remain ours.
We may use samples of finished work in our portfolio, case studies, or marketing materials. Brand names will only be used in our portfolio with your explicit permission. If you’d prefer we not use your work in any external materials, tell us in writing before delivery.
14. Confidentiality
We treat your brief, unreleased product information, and brand strategy as confidential. We don’t share them with anyone outside the production process.
15. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or our services is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, missed opportunities) arising from your use of our deliverables.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can’t be excluded under UK law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at this URL with the “last updated” date at the top. Changes apply to orders placed after the change; the terms in force when you ordered govern that order.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of that country.
18. Contact
Questions about these terms go to hello@miracontent.studio, or by post to 245 Old St, London EC1V 9EY, United Kingdom.
